Conference on Tumours of the Auditory and Vestibular Nerves
10/14/2025The University Hospital of Würzburg invites all interested parties to the annual conference of the Vereinigung Akustikus Neurinom on Saturday, 25 October 2025, at the Head Clinic.
The patient self-help organisation VAN (Vereinigung Akustikus Neurinom) was founded almost 40 years ago at the suggestion of Professor Madjid Samii in Hanover and has been supporting those affected by tumours of the auditory and vestibular nerves ever since. Both nerves run from the inner ear through the inner auditory canal towards the brain.
Under the motto "Diagnosis of acoustic neuroma - the Würzburg concept", the VAN will hold its annual conference 2025 on Saturday, 25 October, at the Head Clinic of the University Hospital of Würzburg (UKW).
Supported by its interdisciplinary team of experts from neurosurgery and ENT medicine, the event, which starts at 9 a.m., will offer a programme with generally understandable specialist information. The focus will be on patients' questions. There will also be ample opportunity for personal dialogue.
Participation is free of charge. The event is going to be held in German.
