Students at the Faculty of Management and Economics at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (JMU) are currently consistently satisfied with their study conditions. This is shown by the new results of the CHE University Ranking 2026/27.

In the Bachelor's degree programmes in Business Management and Economics and Business Informatics, for example, they rate the general study situation with 4.3 and 4.1 out of a maximum of 5 possible stars respectively. Ratings of 3.8 and more stars are among the "top group" according to CHE.

Among the leaders in Germany

The two subjects are also among the best in Germany when it comes to support at the start of studies. Students awarded 14 out of a maximum of 16 points for the support offered by the Wiwi faculty at the start of their studies.

General study situation, support from lecturers, study organisation, range of courses, support for stays abroad: Würzburg students were able to rate their university in these and other categories in the latest CHE ranking.

A total of eight times, students of economics awarded four or more stars, six times students of business informatics did the same. A total of 191 students took part in the ranking.

Comments on the CHE ranking

And how do the respondents rate the CHE Ranking? "Taking part in the CHE Ranking is a great opportunity to give constructive feedback on the degree programme, highlighting positive aspects and at the same time contributing to the further development of the degree programme," says Maximilian, a sixth-semester Business Management and Economics student.

Franca, who is also studying Business Management, adds: "I think it's nice to see that the good support is also visible in the ranking. I've experienced that myself right from the start."

Professor Benedikt Franke agrees: "As Dean of Studies at the Faculty of Management and Economics, I am particularly pleased that our support and supervision services are perceived so positively by the students. This is the result of dedicated work in the Dean of Studies Office, in the student advisory service, at the chairs and in the student council - and at the same time an incentive to further develop the study conditions at our faculty."
