On Friday, 16 January, the third CHARM-EU Day will take place at the University of Würzburg. If you want to get to know the European university alliance CHARM EU better, this is the right place for you.

On Friday, 16 January 2026, employees and students of JMU will have the opportunity to get to know the European University Alliance CHARM-EU at a "Meet and Greet". The event will take place in the Graduate School of Life Science at Hubland Nord campus from 2 to 4 pm.

Get to know each other at the CHARM-EU "Meet and Greet"

JMU has been a member of the CHARM-EU university alliance for three years now. Since the beginning of the cooperation, numerous projects involving different faculties and administrative areas have been initiated and implemented; the links to the partner universities have been steadily deepened since then. The alliance is currently planning its activities for the coming years - a good opportunity to formulate interests and wishes for the future.

This year, interested parties also have the opportunity to take a look at the CHARM-EU Hybrid Active Classroom. This has been used for hybrid teaching in the CHARM-EU Master in Global Challenges for Sustainability since the current semester. The room is equipped with state-of-the-art technology that makes hybrid teaching scenarios more accessible and attractive for teachers and students. As well as being used by CHARM-EU, it is also available to the wider JMU public.
