Botanical Garden Closes Again
09/09/2025The extensive construction work at the Botanical Garden will continue from 15 September. However, the garden will remain accessible for teaching events, special occasions and guided tours on request.
The University Botanic Garden will be closed again from Monday, 15 September 2025. This is due to the ongoing construction work to renovate the water and sewage system. The closure during construction work is unavoidable for safety reasons.
The Botanic Garden will remain open for teaching, guided tours on request and individual events. The latter can be found in the programme.
On the first Wednesday of every month, the Botanical Garden also offers free guided tours at 5 p.m., that will also include information about the current status of the construction work. The meeting point is at the main entrance on Mittlerer Dallenbergweg. The tours start on 1 October.
