Book flea market at the university library
10/20/2026The Würzburg University Library is currently hosting another book fair at the Central Library in Hubland. On offer are books that have been withdrawn from the Central Library and its branch libraries.
The book flea market has been taking place again at the Central Library in Hubland since 19 October. As was the case last year, a well-stocked bookshelf has been set up in the foyer next to the main entrance, and new titles are added regularly throughout the event.
The selection consists mainly of older editions of academic textbooks from various disciplines that have been superseded by newer editions, as well as titles available in multiple copies. These include books on the history, culture and regional studies of Würzburg and Lower Franconia.
The book sale is aimed at students, staff and researchers at the university, as well as anyone else with an interest in books.
