Date: 05/29/2026, 9:15 AM - 05/30/2026, 5:00 PM
Category: Fakultät für Humanwissenschaften, workshop
Organizer: Career Centre
Speaker: Jürgen Rausch

Business management skills are increasingly required in the economy and by public organisations, even for graduates in the humanities, cultural studies, social sciences or technical disciplines. Does this mean that modern management methods have to be dry business studies? If you take a closer look at the real requirements, you will come across exciting topics that have a lot to do with organising and communicating.

Getting employees "up to speed", supporting them and leading them with target agreements
Leading meetings efficiently, moderating teams
Organising work areas according to the "by delegation" concept
Setting up and successfully completing projects
Living lean management and paying attention to your own resources (time and energy) and goals
This seminar combines theory with real-life practice in excellent companies and organisations. You will gain an overview of modern structures for successful collaboration. Ultimately, it is always about "leading" and "solving problems"

In a creative atmosphere, you will work on practical business management issues and simulate real and typical entrepreneurial tasks in small groups.
