On the "Science Mile", various faculties and institutions invite you to immerse yourself in exciting topics, try out new things and talk directly to scientists. Whether natural sciences, technology, economics, education, nursing or our Central Academic Advisory Service – there is something for young and old.

Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy

Things are getting exciting at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy's stand: our food chemists invite you to determine the alcohol content of wine yourself using an IR device – science in a glass, so to speak. Furthermore, you can take a look at 3D printing from our functional materials research. And, of course, we have plenty of information about our degree programmes – from biochemistry to teaching.

Faculty of Physics and Astronomy

Experience the fascination of magic and physics: at the stand of the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy, we will be showing exciting experiments that make magic visible and arouse curiosity for more science! Stop by and talk to our scientists.

Faculty of Management and Economics

At the Faculty of Management and Economics stand, you can find out about our diverse range of degree programmes - from Management and Economics to Business Information Systems and Digital Business & Data Science. In addition, interactive hands-on activities offer the opportunity to experience basic economic principles in a playful way – for young and old.

Chair of Special Education and Therapy in Language and Communication Disorders

Fun, games and creativity for the whole family: test your knowledge of language and the University of Würzburg on our wheel of fortune and win a prize. There will also be tattoos to stick on at our Kids Creator Station and the opportunity to design and press your own buttons.

Chair of Nursing Science

Nursing science researches and designs nursing healthcare, whether in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation clinics or at home.
