1. AI Week Mainfranken 2025
The AI Week Mainfranken is Bavaria's first decentralized festival focused on AI.
From June 30 to July 4, 2025, 42 events are planned at various locations in the region and online. Over 1,000 people participated in the first AI Week Mainfranken 2024.
What is it about?
- Making artificial intelligence tangible
- Showcasing the expertise of our region to everyone- Highlighting current possibilities and limitations of AI

2. AI Camp Würzburg
The AI Camp is an event held as part of the AI Week Mainfranken and is organized in collaboration with the Center for Artificial Intelligence (CAIRO) at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS).
Date: Friday, July 4
Time: 9 AM to 5 PM
Location: Center for Artificial Intelligence (CAIRO) at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS), Franz-Horn-Str. 2, 97082 Würzburg

3. AI as a Tool for Writing
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing everything, including academic writing, research, and more. But AI is more than just chatbots like ChatGPT. With a growing number of AI tools available, it’s challenging to determine which ones are truly useful and how to make the most of them.
That’s why Schreibzentrum is offering a workshop to explore both the opportunities and challenges of AI. You’ll gain insights into different tools and the technology behind AI, learn how to use them effectively to improve your writing, and understand the academic guidelines for their application.
