Scholarship advice by the Career Centre
The Career Centre at the University of Würzburg advises and supports students in all questions and phases of the scholarship application process.
If required, it offers:
- Orientation in the wide range of scholarships on offer
- Advice on finding and selecting the right scholarship
- Support in preparing application documents such as a tabular or detailed CV, letter of motivation, or essay
- Arranging contacts with current scholarship holders
- Preparation for selection interviews and seminars

Current events
The Career Centre and all the major foundations for gifted students would like to inform you about the opportunities available to you to obtain the study or doctoral scholarship that is right for you. Firstly, a brief introduction will provide general information on scholarships and in particular the material support that is the same for all foundations. You will then have the opportunity to find out more about the foundations and interview scholarship holders in person.
To the event
This workshop is aimed at high-achieving and committed undergraduates and PhD students from all faculties affiliated with the University of Würzburg’s Career Centre who wish to prepare for selection processes run by organisations that support talented students. Under the guidance of experienced lecturer Dr Christina Kreibich, participants will develop strategies for presenting themselves effectively in scholarship selection interviews. The focus is on the effective presentation of academic achievements, voluntary work and social engagement, as well as on practical exercises, role-plays and simulated selection interviews, which promote confidence, reflective skills and confident communication.
