The Career Centre is there to guide you when you are considering which of the wide range of seminars, advice and information you would like to take advantage of and at what point in the student life cycle. The Career Centre supports all students at the University of Würzburg. In its counselling sessions and events, it focuses on different target groups and their needs.

Information on the current Mercator project of the Humboldt University of Berlin "Equal opportunities from university to career?", in which, among other things, the importance of migration background and social background in the career entry of university graduates was investigated, can also be found here.

The European Access Network is a Europe-wide point of contact for all groups of people who are underrepresented in the current higher education landscape. In addition to BAföG, scholarships are also a helpful way of easing the financial burden of your studies. There are a wide variety of scholarships, ranging from book grants to tuition fees and other costs. The target group of the individual scholarships also varies greatly. Scholarships are therefore not just reserved for a certain group of students, but there is the right funding opportunity for everyone. On our information page on scholarships you will find information on the best-known scholarships as well as links to scholarship finders.

The Career Centre is also on hand here to help you select and apply for scholarships.

The Career Centre is not only happy to support you with a wide range of questions relating to your studies, profile building and student skills development.

We would also like to refer you to the non-profit organisation Arbeiterkind.de. This organisation advises and supports prospective students and students who are the first in their family to study with mentoring offers and a wealth of information on scholarships and BAföG. The local group Arbeiterkind.de Würzburg is also a valuable point of contact for tips and information on studying at Würzburg universities.

Applicaid is a non-profit organisation that is independent of the university and supports young educational climbers in their search for and application for scholarships - i.e. people who are the first in their family to study or who come from a social environment that cannot support them, as well as students with a migration background or a history of flight. Applicaid is supported by young volunteers who have travelled this path themselves. In particular, extensive online information is provided, but also individual counselling.
