  • Higher Education Didactics at the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) (formerly ProfiLehre), through university didactics seminars for lecturers with a focus on writing pedagogy, as well as providing feedback on reflective portfolios for faculty members seeking to enhance their supervision of term papers, theses, and dissertations.
  • The University Library, Information Technology Center, and Sports Center, in collaboration on ASK – Academic Writing Compact.
  • JMU Research Academy (RAC), through contributions to its ongoing program of events for doctoral researchers and to the annual Fokuswoche Junge Wissenschaft.
  • The Contact and Information Center for Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses (KIS). Together with KIS, Writing Center staff work to develop solutions that enable students with physical disabilities or mental health conditions to successfully complete their writing projects.
  • JMU Family Service, through the use of client-centered approaches to support students balancing academic work with family responsibilities during their writing projects.
  • The Career Centre, which collaborates continuously with the Writing Center on topics related to professional and workplace writing.
  • The International Students Office, with which the Writing Center has jointly developed workshops specifically tailored to the needs of international students. International students are, of course, also warmly welcomed in all workshops and writing groups offered by the Writing Center.
