Students of humanities subjects often approach their job search with little self-confidence. This is exacerbated by the changeable labour market forecasts.
The aim of this 3-part workshop, which builds on each other, is to make you aware of the expertise and key skills you have acquired both during your studies and outside the university. After analysing your potential - the best way to prepare for a job interview - you will compare your profile with job advertisements and suitable occupational fields to develop strategies on how to use this profile in applications or where you can expand it or adapt it to specific professions.
The following aspects will be covered in this workshop:
- In which areas do humanities graduates have good career entry opportunities?
- What does my skills profile look like?
- Where and with what strategy can I find suitable job offers?
- How do I position myself correctly in the application situation?
- How do I prepare unsolicited applications?
