The Exhibition

The Office of the University Women’s Representative at the University of Würzburg has succeeded in hosting the first stop of the "Travelling Exhibition: Versäumte Bilder" (Missed Images) as part of the overarching project IFiF (Innovative Women in Focus).

The AI-generated images in the exhibition shine a spotlight on female scientists and pioneers whose work received little or no attention, often because they were overshadowed by men and were thus denied (academic) recognition (during their lifetimes).

 

Venue & Opening Hours

The exhibition will be on display from 17 September to 26 October in the wheelchair-accessible Forum on Wittelsbacher Platz.

Opening hours during the summer break are: Monday–Thursday 7 am–4 pm, Friday 7 am–1 pm

and during term time (from 12 October): Monday–Friday 7 am–9 pm.

 

Programme

The exhibition will be accompanied by a supporting programme, which will also be published here shortly. In addition to two lunchtime talks, this includes interactive tours of the exhibition. Come and be surprised!
