General Equal Treatment Act (AGG)
The General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) , which came into force in August 2006, serves to support equal opportunities work and has since become an important part of HR work.
In a circular from the Acting Chancellor of the University of Würzburg, reference is made to the various areas of application such as non-discriminatory job advertisements, appropriate recruitment procedures and the aim of protecting employees from discrimination in the workplace.
