Girls' Day

The young generation of women in Germany has a particularly good school education - and yet

and yet disproportionately often opt for "typically female" professions or subjects.

Girls Day is therefore intended to give schoolgirls in years 5 to 10 the opportunity to gain an insight into professional fields that girls rarely consider when looking for a career. Primarily technical companies and departments, as well as universities, research centres and similar institutions offer events for girls on Girls' Day.
