Gender-appropriate language

Gender-equitable language is neither cumbersome nor long. All that is required is a willingness to say goodbye to the usual formulations and to practise conscious and creative language.

a few examples:

"People working" in the science-supporting area...

or

"Students" can be male, female and/or diverse...

likewise

"Participants" in a training programme...

and

"Participation lists" can be created in a gender-neutral way...
