Under this title, the CTL, in collaboration with the CHARM-EU staff at the University of Würzburg and the Office of the Vice-President for Internationalisation and Alumni, is organising the upcoming Teaching Day on 18 November 2026.

Through keynote talks, workshops and discussion sessions, the programme will explore the benefits, challenges and examples of good practice for the successful internationalisation of teaching at the University of Würzburg. The focus will be on various ways of embedding internationality as an approach in study and teaching: from international mobility and ‘internationalisation at home’ to international teaching formats and learning spaces.

Teaching Day 2026 is being organised by Prof. Dr Andreas Dörpinghaus, Vice President for learning, teaching and quality management, and Prof. Dr Doris Fischer, Vice President for internationalisation and alumni.

The event is primarily aimed at teaching staff with and without experience of international teaching. Students are also warmly invited to contribute their perspectives. An invitation detailing the specific programme content will follow by email at the start of the winter semester.
