This seminar focuses on the role of feedback and reflection in fostering continuous professional growth in teaching. Participants explore how different forms of feedback, evaluation, and self-reflection can be integrated to enhance teaching effectiveness and support continuous development.
The seminar is aimed particularly at people who are relatively new to teaching and want to systematically develop their teaching practice.

Topics:

  • Feedback and evaluation in teaching
  • Reflective practices and their implementation
  • Self-perception and external perception

Methodology: The seminar combines short theoretical inputs with interactive elements. Participants engage in hands-on exercises, group discussions, peer exchange, and individual reflection.

Key Takeaways for Your Teaching Practice: A sharper awareness of how feedback, evaluation, and reflection interconnect; greater confidence in applying constructive feedback and reflective methods and a clearer sense of how to use these processes to guide my ongoing professional development.

Course instructor: Dr. Monika Staab-Shentsis
