The GRÜNE NETZWERKSTATT is a regular meeting of all student groups and interested individuals in the field of sustainability at the University of Würzburg.

=> The GRÜNE NETZWERKSTATT is every first Thursday of the month between 2 and 4 pm at the WueLAB.

All student groups, initiatives and projects and all students are cordially invited!

What can you expect from the Netzwerkstatt?

  • Regular meeting of interested and committed students in the field of sustainable transformation at the University of Würzburg
  • Space for exchange on student engagement and university policy in the field of sustainability
  • Active participation in shaping sustainable development at the university
  • Opportunities to join an existing project or develop your own project idea at a low threshold if you are interested

  • Brief introduction to the history and current status of student commitment to sustainability in student's representation
  • Presentation of student engagement at WueLAB using the example of the

student project "W(u)eShare" - lending and exchange lockers on campus"

Location: WueLAB sustainability lab in Emil-Hilb-Weg 22, 3rd floor, seminar room

The aims of the GREEN NETWORKSTATION are to

to strengthen the exchange and communication between the university groups, initiatives and projects.

  • To pool and exchange the resources of the individual groups.
  • To facilitate co-operation in order to overcome shared challenges together.
  • To find new committed people for the groups, initiatives and projects.

New groups and projects or a joint strategy can also emerge from the GREEN NETWORKSTATION.

Kick-off event:

The kick-off event took place on 15 May 2025 from 2 pm to 4 pm at WueLAB (Emil-Hilb-Weg 22 at Hubland Nord, 3rd floor). The GRÜNE NETZWERKSTATT was presented in this context. Afterwards, utopias for a sustainable university/city were developed interactively.

At the end of the event, there was the opportunity to chat over delicious food.

Lecture series WS 24/25: Sustainability and global responsibility

In the winter semester 2024/25, the lecture series will focus on the topics of biodiversity, democracy and sustainability, with a particular focus on the bidirectional transferability of research and practical implementation. There will be an opportunity for an informal exchange over lunch afterwards.
