New Feature Article: UBE2S Learns Self-Control

08/07/2019

In the new issue of Structure [06 August 2019], our research group Lorenz demonstrates that the cell cycle regulator UBE2S shuts itself off through autoubiquitination at a conserved lysine residue (Liess et al. 2019).

"Since E2s are at the center of the ubiquitination cascade, this presents a possible regulatory mechanism in a multitude of cellular processes." Structure Preview article T. Bodrug & N.G. Brown "UBE2S Learns Self-Control"
