In "Rudis Forschercamp" ("Rudi's research camp") children are given the opportunity to experiment like real scientists. They learn about the fascination of science in small projects and are accompanied on their exploratory journey into the realms of science by three university students. Experimentation and hands-on-activities have priority; lectures or demonstrations are avoided. Biology, chemistry, physics, medicine – each day at the Forschercamp is dedicated to another scientific field. After four weeks, each junior researcher receives a genuine research certificate, and can duly impress their parents with all they have learned in the research camp.
The Forschercamp is held in German.
Children between the ages of eight and twelve
Four consecutive Thursdays, from 4 pm to 5:30 pm (not held during holidays)
Participating in the research camp is free.
