Gender equality networks

The Equal Opportunities Office supports and coordinates various networks within the university, throughout Bavaria and nationwide.

Within the university: with the network secretariat

Bavaria-wide: as a member of the advisory board of the State Conference of Women's and Equal Opportunities Officers,

Nationwide: as an active member of the MTV Equal Opportunities Commission of the Federal Conference

• State Conference of Women's and Equal Opportunities Officers at Bavarian Universities (LaKoF). The state conference represents the interests of female academics, students and employees at state level. It influences the gender equality policy debate at universities in Bavaria and beyond by issuing statements, recommendations and concepts. The LaKoF meets regularly at least twice a year.

• The advisory board meets within the framework of the state conference and also meets regularly for joint and separate advisory board meetings and workshops in order to promote and monitor the implementation of the Bavarian Equal Opportunities Act and to support its implementation. The advisory board brings together all appointed equal opportunities officers and contact persons at Bavarian universities.

• Federal Conference of Women's Representatives and Equal Opportunities Officers at Universities (BuKoF). The BuKoF is the association of women's and equal opportunities officers at universities. The members of the BuKoF work together to fulfil their tasks in the area of promoting women and equality at universities. In particular, the BuKoF represents the interests of women at universities for all types of universities and member groups.
  
  The BuKoF has various commissions on different topics. For academic support staff, the "Equal Opportunities for Female Employees in Technology and Administration" committee is particularly noteworthy, along with several others.
