Notes & FAQs
- You can find the semester’s programme in WueStudy. Courses offered by the Computer Science department in most cases do not offer and require course registration via WueStudy. Just come to the first lecture, and look out for a WueCampus course room.
- You will always have to register for the exams / assessments in the semester in which you hand in your respective task/paper/presentation etc. We cannot grade you when you are not registered in the examination.
- The elective module Advanced Methods of Computer Science is intended as a placeholder that can be filled with any suitable course from the Master’s / AI offerings of the Computer Science department that you are interested in. Contact Christof Weiß to get your grade into your transcript (and for any questions).
- We have an experimental internal timetable tool that shows the (planned) courses by date. Have a look at it (but still do not ignore WueStudy, which is the official tool and contains more details!)
The program can be studied either as a single major with 120 ECTS (including master’s thesis and colloquium), or combined with another major, each consisting of 45 ECTS (excluding master’s thesis and colloquium). In the latter case, you can decide in which subject you wish to write your master’s thesis (combining both subjects is also possible). Together with the colloquium, the thesis contributes another 30 ECTS, so you’ll acquire 120 ECTS in total, as well (45 + 45 + 30).
The plan outlines our recommendation how to plan your studies. The mandatory courses will be offered yearly. In our starting year 2025, we will only offer courses intended for the first semester in that plan.
See below for more information on the courses (WIP).
