Forum Africa Centre

Goals and Members

The working group Young Africa Centre has been founded in 2013 as part of the University of Würzburg's Forum Africa Centre.

Goals

The Young Africa Centre has the ambition to act as a platform for PhD, Master's and Bachelor's students as well as members of faculty interested or engaged in research and teaching on Africa. To this end, we organize panel discussions, lectures or movie nights where people interested in Africa can meet and exchange ideas.

Moreover, the Young Africa Centre Series, established in 2014, is providing outstanding students and young scholars with a platform for the publication of their excellent research and working papers. The Young Africa Centre Series is open to both students or faculty members of the University of Würzburg and to students and scholars from Africa to make visible not only research on Africa but also significant contributions from the continent.
