Toolbox

From teaching for teaching - the Toolbix is a participatory platform for a variety of methods, resources, guidelines and tips for promoting digital university teaching! Teachers, students and didactics are invited to share their experiences from teaching practice: Whether established methods, tried and tested concepts or your favourite tools, the toolbox offers space for all ideas and content relating to digital teaching to be exchanged and inspired. Come and visit us!

Teaching and learning concepts combine theory and teaching motivation with methods that can be used as a basis for developing your own teaching and learning scenarios.

Building blocks are instructions that describe how a particular method or tool can be used in teaching.

Good practices are inspiring practical examples that report on subject-specific or event-specific innovations and solutions.

This section presents tools that can be used in a variety of ways in (digital) teaching. The collection is supplemented by practical information on license terms and specific application scenarios.

Infrastructure includes rooms for implementing digital teaching and learning scenarios, rooms for media production, training courses on digital and media-related topics, and JMU resource pools.

FAQ's

(Digital) teaching is rich in ideas and experiences. The exchange with teachers and learners so far has made it clear that constant sharing of these is the key to driving developments forward in a sustainable and resource-saving way. The Toolbox as a participatory platform facilitates this exchange.

Become part of the Toolbox and think ahead with the University of Würzburg's (digital) teaching community!

The collection of experiences in the toolbox is structured according to content types. You will find entries in the following areas:

Good practices: subject- or event-specific experience reports from the University of Würzburg community

Teaching-learning concepts: theoretically sound approaches for the design and development of teaching-learning scenarios

Building blocks: Instructions for the use of various tools and software in the teaching-learning context

Tools: Technologies, software applications, hardware, etc. for use in (digital) teaching

Infrastructure: Information on rooms, further education and training programmes in the context of (digital) teaching

The entries in the toolbox are labelled with keywords. You can find entries by entering them in the search field or by selecting the displayed keywords(search by topic). You can also browse through the various sections(filter by content type) of the toolbox.

The toolbox is primarily designed for members of the University of Würzburg.

In principle, however, all contributions are also available as print versions, which are subject to copyright and the CC BY 4.0 licence. The legal protection enables free sharing within and outside the community.

Further information on data protection on WueCampus can be found here.

You have the option of downloading and/or printing the posts in the toolbox.

In the print options under "Further settings" you will find the option to add or remove headers and footers with further information about the post.

There are two ways to create content for the toolbox:

  1. Within the toolbox: You write into the Toolbox and use the input mask. You can load your contribution into the Toolbox by clicking the "Submit" or "Save" button. You can then edit it further (see FAQ on editing existing content).
  2. Outside the toolbox: You use the offline word template (Vorlage (deutsch) / Template (english), which youcan find on the start page under "Participate and create your own Toolbox contributions" and send your file to wuedive@uni-wuerzburg.de after editing . Of course, you can also use the offline templates for writing and copy-paste the content into the input mask yourself.

Once the article has been added to the toolbox, the content is available to all members of the University of Würzburg under CC-BY 4.0 licence. The content can be downloaded via PDF printer and thus also made available to external persons.

The editors reserve the right to make minor changes without authorisation.

Yes, even after your post has been published, you can still edit and update it. To access the editing mode, click on the three dots displayed next to the title of your post. After you have edited your post, it will be released again by the editorial team. To draw attention to this, please send an email to wuedive@uni-wuerzburg.de

For support in entering your own content and for questions of all kinds relating to the toolbox, please contact the editorial team: wuedive@uni-wuerzburg.de

To delete your post, go to the individual view of your entry. Next to the title you will find three dots with the option "Delete". A window will open in which you must confirm that you want to delete your post.

After leaving JMU, the account is automatically removed from WueCampus and thus from the toolbox after a certain period of time.
If you wish to leave the toolbox prematurely, you can unsubscribe from the course at any time. All you need to do is send an e-mail to wuedive@uni-wuerzburg.de with a request to withdraw from the course.
