The conference on media, communication and marketing

Transforming Media will open its doors for the fourth time on Tuesday, 7 July 2026 at the Vogel Convention Centre in Würzburg: the free conference, featuring an interactive expo focusing on developments in media, marketing and communication in these turbulent digital times, will begin at midday.

Now that generative AI has become part of everyday working life, communications professionals face new and complex challenges: how can we make the leap from mere content creation to agent-based systems that can handle tasks autonomously? Under the banner of ‘Human in the Lead’, at Transforming Media 2026 we will explore which human skills and qualities truly make the difference in a world full of synthetic content. We want to know how organisations are transforming when the tool suddenly becomes a real colleague. Trust remains the most important currency: how does communication function in the tension between radical automation and authenticity?

The Transforming Media programme provides the answers and explores key topics such as digital sovereignty, hyper-personalisation, zero-click reality and micro-communities. Interactive sessions and workshops also provide the practical tools needed for real-world application.
