The political situation in the world is very unsettling at the moment. War in Ukraine and now in Iran. High energy and food prices, which also affect students. Housing shortages and inflated rents. Then there are the companies that only offer unpaid internships and don't let you hear from them for a long time once you have submitted an application. Unemployment among academics is also on the rise. In many cases, hopelessness and pessimism are spreading. Studies show that around two thirds of young people (aged 14-29) are pessimistic about the future of Germany and the world.

At the same time, however, around 65% are optimistic about their own personal future (career, family, etc.). And this provides an opportunity to promote and train optimism about the future. After all, it is crucial that I look to the future with an open mind. No matter what happens, there will be a future that I can shape positively and confidently and, above all, fulfil with meaning.
In addition to the encouraging human image of the great Viennese psychologist Viktor Frankl, logotherapeutic strategies will therefore be taught on how this positive view of the future can be achieved. This lecture will be supplemented with inner images, the opportunity to develop your own visions and to recognise and implement your personal values.
