Today's labour market offers many opportunities for young graduates but also raises important challenges about how to enter it, gain experience, and build a career that can cross borders. In this context, EURES plays a key role in supporting young people at different stages of their professional journey, from first job seekers to early-career professionals looking for stability or progression abroad.
During this presentation, I will show how EURES supports young graduates through concrete tools and services: from access to millions of job opportunities across Europe, to apprenticeships, traineeships and mobility schemes that make working abroad more accessible and sustainable. I will also give a live demonstration of the EURES Portal and the European Online Job Days, highlighting how users can find information, and how students can follow EURES social media channels.
Above all, this will be an interactive session. I will invite students to reflect on their own career plans, mobility ambitions and expectations, and we will discuss how EURES can support their next steps-whether planning their first job, considering international experience, or thinking about long-term career development in Europe.
