It is planned that the realization of the course takes place in several thematic, and based on the activities, different parts. First, through lectures, presentations, analyzes and guided discussions, students will be introduced to various production systems throughout the history of human society and their inherent ways of preparing human resources. Also, the emphasis will be on the role of (adult) education in the development of human civilization. In that way, the characteristics of the modern world of work will be arrived at. Within this topic, a little research will be conducted among students on the topic: what characteristics of today's world of work they estimate may be a difficulty for them in the labor market and in their professional life. The results of the research will be analyzed together. After that, the next thematic unit will be opened at the center of which are modern systems of vocational (adult) education. The basic features of these systems will be analyzed together, and special attention will be paid to the orientation of systems, programs, and training on outcomes in terms of competencies. Within this part of the course, students will, based on the obtained materials, which represent the content of potential adult training, individually or in pairs, be given the task to formulate training outcomes, in terms of knowledge, skills and competencies. At the end of the exercise, the prepared outcomes will be analyzed. In the next block, the focus shifts to the stages of the training cycle, with the presentation of simpler models of instructional design. This leads to another more demanding exercise within this course, when students will be required to choose one of the most distinctive features of the modern world of work and use it as a basis for creating an adult training program that aims to provide adults with educational support for coping with the acquired characteristic, whether it should be about improving the working and professional life of a person or strengthening their capacity to overcome the negative effects that occur through the action of some of the characteristics of the world of work. The created training offer will be analyzed together. The last part of the training is dedicated to the study of the quality of a person's working life, its place in the overall quality of life, as well as relations with (adult) education. Based on the results of the presented research, students will have the task to formulate concluding remarks related to the mentioned interrelationships through discussion.
