Tropical house
The tropical show house complex consists of six sections arranged in a circuit with different climates:
1. lowland rainforest
2. mountain cloud forest (and Macaronesian laurel forest)
3. drylands of Africa and Madagascar (xerophytes of the Paleotropis)
4. dry areas of South and Central America and southern North America (Neotropical xerophytes)
5. flowering corridor with changing plant population
6. useful plants of the tropics and subtropics (arranged according to use)
You should allow about one hour for a tour.
Exhibitions are regularly presented in the entrance area. This is the meeting point for most garden tours. You will also find the toilets here. The tropical show house is barrier-free.
In addition to the public display area, the non-public propagation greenhouses are also located in this greenhouse complex.
