Through your membership, pro planta can support the Botanic Garden financially with:
- New designs and remodelling in the garden
- Purchase of plants
- Increasing the attractiveness of the display area (information boards, benches..)
In addition, you could support the Botanical Garden by actively helping out on campaign days.
The activities of pro planta are
- Public events on plant science topics
- Further education and training events on topics relating to pharmacy, agriculture and forestry, horticulture and nature and environmental protection
- Excursions and guided tours
- Publication of information leaflets
- Supporting the further expansion and maintenance of the scientific plant collections
- Promotion of science and research in the field of botany

The Botanical Garden of the University of Würzburg, with its 300-year history, is the oldest institution of its kind in Bavaria. pro planta, the Friends of the Würzburg Botanical Garden, supports its work and promotes its efforts to inform visitors and preserve endangered plant species and biocoenoses.
