Notes: The botanist and bryologist Victor Felix Schiffner (1862-1944) was born in Böhmisch-Leipa. His research was mainly focussed on mosses, especially liverworts. From the exsiccate work "Hepaticae europaeae exsiccati" the fascicles 1-22 and 24-29/ No. 1-1.100 and 1.151-1.456 published in the years from 1901 to 1943 are in the herbarium.
