Four million euros funding for international project on urinary tract infections
04/04/2022Some bacteria do not grow or grow very slowly, often rendering antibiotics ineffective. An international team, including the University of Würzburg, aims to find a new way to combat these bacteria.
The new project “CRITICAL” is coordinated by the Catholic University of Leuven and is funded with four million euros by the Belgian Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO). A total of 200,000 euros will be invested in research at the IMIB which will be headed by Jörg Vogel. more details...
