75th Mosbach Colloquium of the Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (GBM)
03/27/2024The international event, co-organized by Jörg Vogel (IMIB/HIRI), presented techniques for characterizing and modifying the complex human microbiome.
The microbiome of each individual human being varies and describes the diversity of bacteria, fungi and viruses that colonize our bodies.
The concrete interaction and functioning with the body's own cells is not exactly known. But more and more research findings are contributing to a better understanding. At the international event, the latest techniques for characterizing the microbiome were presented and discussed by experts from basic and clinical research.
