Legal issues of scientific cooperation with China

KoWinChi is a BMBF-funded project that sensitises scientists and research support staff in dealing with Chinese research partners. The workshops are open to employees at research institutions in the Main-Franken region.

This workshop will address the following topics:

    Need to avoid legal pitfalls when cooperating with China, including intellectual property rights, data transfers, surveys, state secrets and dual-use technologies.
    Special features and preparation of Chinese institutions for co-operation.
    Introduction to the legal framework and "red lines" of co-operation with China, creating a common understanding of legal specifics and ensuring appropriate standards.
