On the 20th of June at 18:00, the CCCUW in cooperation with EU-project Remote XUAR will be showing the film 'Nikah' in room 00.006 of the Graduate School followed by a panel discussion with the director and experts on Xinjiang.
On 20 June at 18:00 we will be showing the film 'Nikah' in room 00.006 of the Graduate School, followed by a panel discussion with the director and experts on Xinjiang. The film is about a 27-year-old woman who is pressured by her family to get married. The discussion will focus on the cultural realities in Xinjiang, as well as the Chinese government's cultural policies in the region. We look forward to seeing you there!
