Teaching and Learning in the spotlight

A day of appreciation and visibility for teaching!

The programme of workshops and lectures on the university-wide Teaching Day serves as a platform for lecturers and students to discuss teaching at our university. The day offers the opportunity to learn from each other, reflect on current challenges in higher education didactics and discuss new approaches to teaching practice together.

In addition, the student teaching awards for excellent teaching will be presented on this occasion.

The motto of the Teaching Day 2025 was "Hey ChatGPT, how does good university teaching acutally work? Impulses for teaching AI skills".

Bavarian Day for Good Teaching 2025 (German only)

The Bavaria-wide Day for Good Teaching 2025 was organised by the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (JMU) together with the Technische Hochschule Aschaffenburg (TH AB), the Technische Hochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) and the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg (HfM) under the motto "Future of Higher Education".
