On October 20th and 21st 2026, the study&stay career fair will once again take place in the Canteen Campus Hubland Süd. There, you can meet interesting exhibitors, find out about career opportunities and perhaps even make your first contacts with your future employer.

We are also happy to assist you during the semester holidays with our programme of advice and events. Our seminars for the semester holiday programme start in September and can be found on our website.

The mentoring programme, run in partnership between the University of Würzburg Community and the Career Centre, brings together students, PhD candidates and recent graduates with working alumni of the University of Würzburg, who support them with any questions or issues relating to their career development.

Dr Stephan Fasshauer, who holds a doctorate in economics, is Chief Executive Officer of the German Social Accident Insurance. In this alumni interview, he tells us what he particularly loves about his job.
