The BORONPro team was heavily involved in “Türen auf mit der Maus” last Saturday, bringing chemistry to life with fun, hands-on shows for kids. Exploding experiments, colorful reactions, and lots of curious young scientists! A great chance to open our labs and give kids a first look at chemistry (including a bit of boron research).

A massive congratulations to BORONPro Ph.D. student Sarah Lutz for receiving a Bavarian High-Tech Award for her work on BN-doped fluorescent probes for DNA, part of a collaboration between the Helten and Höbartner research groups.

A large delegation of 15 BORONPro PIs and students from the Universities of Würzburg and Frankfurt took part in the IMEBoron conference held in Tokyo, Japan, from 6-10 September
