Each semester 3-4 guest speakers come to the RTG to give us an insight into their current projects and to discuss their research and hot topics in their respective fields with our PhD students. After each talk we continue our discussions over dinner at a local restaurant!

Last October the second cohort of PhD students with the RTG2660 started! To prepare them for their upcoming research and a fruitful career in academia and beyond, the first semester of the RTG consists of a series of different lectures and seminars.

We now welcome applications for 13 open PhD positions!

We are seeking highly qualified students holding a M.Sc. or equivalent degree with a background in one or several of the following fields: Neuroscience, Psychology, (Neuro)biology, Biomedical Sciences, or Biophysics.

Unfortunately, academia is far from having reached (gender) equality and diversity. To address this important topic, we are extremely happy that we could win Birgit Röschert to give an Impulse Lecture on “Diversity and Inclusion in Practice”.
