External professional training opportunities

Training and further education programmes that are not part of the internal course offerings can be obtained from the following external providers - especially for administrative and technical staff, but also for academic staff:

Bavarian School of Administration (BVS)

The Bavarian School of Administration offers specialised and interdisciplinary training seminars for employees in public administration.

Within the central administration
Seminar applications for employees of the central administration are coordinated by Unit A.2.guidelines

Outside the central administration
Employees at faculties, Institutes, chairs and central facilities are welcome to contact Unit A.2 for advice on the selection process. Registration and funding are organised in consultation with the respective departments/supervisors.

The University for the Civil Service (HföD)

offers free seminars for employees of the Free State of Bavaria. Event overview and information on participation and registration under: "Qualification Offensive II".

The Digital.campus Bavaria

is a digital qualification platform for acquiring digital skills that is openly accessible to all public administration employees in Bavaria.

It provides you with user-friendly access to a wide range of flexible and innovative further education and training programmes that support you in developing your digital skills. You can use the learning opportunities at any time and largely free of charge (open educational resources).

IMPORTANT : For employees of the central administration , the consent of the manager is required for participation.

BayLern

BayLern is the central learning portal of the Bavarian state administration. It offers public administration employees the opportunity to continue their education and training wherever and whenever they want. Various digital learning formats - such as online courses, webinars or multimedia learning modules - can be used via the platform to expand professional skills and follow current developments in the administrative sector.
