Training and further education programmes that are not part of the internal event offering can be obtained from the following external providers:

The Bavarian School of Administration offers specialised and interdisciplinary training seminars for employees in public administration. The seminar overview and further information on the programmes offered by the Bavarian School of Administration can be found on the homepage of the Bavarian School of Administration (BVS).

Outside the central administration

Staff from the faculties, institutes, chairs and central facilities are welcome to contact Unit A.2 for advice. Registration and funding are carried out in consultation with your department/supervisor.

The Hochschule für den Öffentlichen Dienst (HföD) offers free seminars for employees of the Free State of Bavaria. You can find an overview of events and further information on the authorised participants and registration on the HföD homepage under the heading "Qualification Offensive II".

BayLern is the central learning portal of the Bavarian state administration. It offers public administration employees the opportunity to continue their education and training regardless of time and place. Various digital learning formats - such as online courses, webinars or multimedia learning modules - can be used via the platform to expand professional skills and follow current developments in the administrative sector. Please remember that you can only take advantage of these offers in consultation with your supervisor. The University of Würzburg places a special focus on the following events:

The Digital.Campus Bayern is a digital qualification platform for acquiring digital skills that is openly accessible to all public administration employees in Bavaria.

It provides you with user-friendly access to a wide range of flexible and innovative further education and training courses to help you develop your digital skills. You can use the learning opportunities at any time and largely free of charge (open educational resources).
Please note: For central administration employees, the approval of their manager is required for participation.
