Internationalisation

As an employee in the academic support area, you advise and support international students, guests and researchers and are often the first to welcome them to JMU.

To support you in this important task, JMU offers you and all employees in the academic support area the modular certificate programme "UNIversInternational" in line with the internationalisation strategy adopted in 2024.

UNIversInternational

General information
The programme consists of three modules aimed at academic support staff.

We would like to systematically support you in your day-to-day work in dealing with the ongoing internationalisation of the university.

Registration
You can register for the certificate programme at any time by sending an email to personalentwicklung@uni-wuerzburg.de.

Advice and support
We will be happy to advise you on registration, sequence and crediting of the modules.

Completion
Once you have successfully completed all modules, please send the relevant certificates by email to personalentwicklung@uni-wuerzburg.de.

Award ceremony
Certificates are awarded once a year as part of the International Evening .

Structure of the certificate

Module 1: English language skills

Would you like to brush up on your professional English or are you looking for a way to keep practising or improve your skills even further?

We have a range of job-related English courses to choose from.

Module 2: Intercultural knowledge

Do you regularly advise or support international students, lecturers or researchers with administrative issues?

Our training programmes support you in mastering these intercultural situations in the workplace with confidence.

Module 3: Intercultural experience

Would you like to take part in a work-related international mobility programme to gain further training and share best practice in your field of work?
