Internationalisation

As a member of the support staff, you advise and support international students, guests and researchers and are often the first to welcome them to JMU.

To support you in this important task, JMU offers you and all its members of the support staff the modular certificate program "UNIversInternational" in line with the
internationalisation strategy, adopted in 2024.

UNIversInternational

General information
The program comprises three modules aimed at all members of the support staff.

We would like to systematically support you in your day-to-day work in the context of the ongoing internationalization of the university.

Registration
You can register for the certificate program at any time by sending an email to personalentwicklung@uni-wuerzburg.de.

Advice and support
We will be happy to advise you on registration, sequence and crediting of the modules.

Completion
Once you have successfully completed all modules, send the proofs and certificates by email to personalentwicklung@uni-wuerzburg.de.

Award ceremony
The certificate is awarded once a year as part of the International Evening.

Module 1: English language skills

You want to refresh or enhance your professional English language skills? Or you are looking for an opportunity to keep your English in shape?

We offer a range of job-related English language courses that could be right for you.

Module 2: Intercultural Skills

Your job involves liaising with international students, teachers or researchers?

Take one of our intercultural training courses and learn how to approach intercultural encounters with confidence.

Would you like to take part in a work-related mobility abroad and exchange about "best practice" in your field of work?
