Oligonucleotide Therapeutics Society
11/16/2023Linda Popella (IMIB) and Valentina Cosi (HIRI), both from Jörg Vogel's research group, were recognized for their outstanding poster presentations at the annual meeting of the Oligonucleotide Therapeutics Society in Barcelona.
Both presented their research work on antisense peptide nucleic acids and their applicability as novel RNA-based antibiotics. The poster prizes are endowed with 250 US dollars each.
The highly regarded annual OTS conference attracts experts from all over the world for an interdisciplinary exchange from the fields of chemistry, biology, immunology and clinical medicine. The Oligonucleotide Therapeutics Society is a non-profit forum for the advancement of academic and industrial research and development of oligonucleotide therapeutics.
