Professor Anne Chao has been elected as an Academician of Academia Sinica

BETA-FOR warmly congratulates our Mercator Fellow, Professor Anne Chao, on being elected as an Academician of Academia Sinica, Taiwan's national academy. This year's newly elected Academicians were announced following the Academia Sinica Convocation held on 9 July 2026. The election recognizes a lifetime of outstanding scholarly achievements and represents the highest academic honor in Taiwan. We are delighted to celebrate this well-deserved recognition and extend our sincere congratulations to Professor Chao on this remarkable achievement.
