Support offers

Disability and chronic illness: TheContact and Information Center for Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses (KIS) works to improve the study situation of people with disabilities and chronic illness, taking into account equal opportunities and participation. 

Student Services Counselling: TheStudierendenwerk Würzburg offers a counselling service to all enrolled students and doctoral candidates (social counselling, psychotherapeutic counselling, legal advice, studying with a child, studying with a disability, international students).

Discrimination and sexual harassment:SafeSpaceJMU is the central and confidential helpline for students and staff of the University of Würzburg. You can get in touch in cases of discrimination or sexual harassment.

Diversity: TheDiversity Coordination Office brings together all internal initiatives that promote diversity and  contribute to a discrimination-free environment in your studies, teaching, research, and the administration. All employees, students, and doctoral candidates at JMU can contact the office with any questions regarding equal opportunities and anti-discrimination.  

Health: All members of the University of Würzburg have the opportunity to use the services of theHealthy University.

Equality: TheOffice of the University Women's Representative is available for questions relating to gender equality in academia. The office offers career development programs, events, and advisory services.  

Good Research Practice and the Commission for the Investigation of Scientific Misconduct: The University of Würzburg has issued guidelines for ensuring good scientific and research practice and for dealing with misconduct, which are binding for all researchers at the university. Based on these guidelines, ombudspersons and a standing commission for investigating scientific misconduct have been appointed.

Conflicts: The conflict management and conflict counselling center of the University of Würzburg is open to all members of the University of Würzburg. 

Student Representation: The university-wide student representation of the University of Würzburg represents the interests of students and offers information and support.
