IRTG2991 Annual Report Meeting 2026

The IRTG2991 PhD students presented their research projects to the entire team in a well-organized session of Zoom meetings in August 2026.

For projects like IRTGs, which are based on interdisciplinary and international collaboration, a good exchange within the entire team about the current state of the research projects is essential.

In between the Start-up conference of IRTG 2991 at IISER Thiruvananthapuram 2025 and the scheduled Mid-term conference in Würzburg 2027, all doctoral students got the chance to present their research to the entire team during a session of five Zoom meetings organized in August 2026. Thanks to AI, a schedule could be constructed which allowed for maximum participation during all of the meetings, with 30 to 45 attendees.  The meeting provided a great opportunity for all members to get an overview on the individual projects currently running with in the IRTG2991. Also, all PhD students got the chance for an in-depth discussion about their projects with their international supervisor team in Zoom break-out sessions.
