How a binational PhD opens two doors to a future research career

Suvarna got the opportunity to write about her experiences with her Binational PhD at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Thiruvananthapuram and Julius Maximilians-Universität (JMU) Würzburg in Chemistry World (RSC).

In the framework of the IRTG 2991, Suvarna Sujilkumar together with around ten more PhD students from IISER Thiruvananthapuram are currently pursuing a Binational PhD in Chemistry with JMU Würzburg. Part of this Dual Degree program is an extended research stay of 12 months at the partner institution.
