Visit of Prof. Dr. Mahesh Hariharan in Würzburg (IISER Thiruvananthapuram)

Prof. Mahesh Hariharan visited JMU Würzburg in August 2026. During his one-week stay he delivered an IRTG 2991 lecture series with three highly interesting and educational lectures based on his groups research. The talks were entitled "Eumelanin – A Black Box”, “Watching Excitons Move: Phase Propagation in Molecular Crystals”, and “Photoinduced Symmetry Breaking Charge Separation in Chromophoric Assemblies”. In addition to that, many members of the IRTG used the opportunity to meet with Prof. Hariharan for personal exchange and to discuss ongoing or future collaboration projects.
