The Importance of Retrospective in Policy Analysis: Revisiting the European Grundtvig Programme to discover its Roles and Impacts on Adult Learning and Education (2000-2013)

This workshop will explore the roles and impacts of the European Grundtvig Programme in the aspect of the quality development of adult learning and education across Europe. The programme became a flagship initiative to address the educational challenge of an ageing population and to provide adults with alternative pathways to update their skills and competences based on partnership-based actions amongst adult learners, teachers and trainers from a variety of organisations including local authorities, non-governmental organisations, charities, universities, community groups, etc.
